Chicken or Beef?

On a flight to the UK recently the cabin crew asked couscous with chicken or beef? I had always wanted to eat couscous so I opted for that. On opening the food pack, I knew instantly I had made a terrible mistake. From the look to its arrangement… let’s just say if you were served this meal in a restaurant you won’t eat or pay for it but here I was thousands of feet away in the air and hungry I swallowed some of it to fill my hungry stomach. On my return flight I decided on the beef meal I wasn’t any better. I asked the cabin attended why they can’t a least give us one Nigerian meal? His reply was ‘you have to make up your mind as I have to go’ I settled for the beef meal. Even though this airline is one of Nigerians favourite airline, they didn’t think It would be nice to add at least on Nigerian meal like jollof rice. Everyone eat rice why force us to eat things that aren’t well prepared and are totally foreign to us. Don’t get me wrong I love trying new dishes and from other countries but if you must serve us a meal the least we ask for it make it taste and look presentable.
