My nephew showed me the medals he had won (two bronze medals) at his school’s sports event. He said ‘I could have won a silver medal but I looked back and someone else took the lead’. Isn’t this what we all do? We look back too often at life’s delays, failures, setbacks and this just sort of throws us into a place of gloom. I can’t say don’t look back ‘cos sometimes I do the same thing but don’t dwell on it. What is ahead is always better than what is behind that I know for sure.
The pains and failures that you might have experience do not form your future it is how you treat these events that determines your future. Do you frame up the pains and failures and look at them daily or you learn from them and use them as stepping stone to a better future for yourself.
Even when we keep referring to our past victories and success it is as if your life has peaked and you are not expecting any more success.
Your best days and success are always ahead not behind.
Enjoy,
Pamela
